Labs help your clinician to better understand your medical history and the best treatment path for you. If you’ve recently done lab work, we’ll accept it. If you don’t have recent labs, your clinician will determine if you’re a good candidate for medical weight loss.

We will work with you to explain the specific side effects you could encounter with your specific medications. However, the most common side effects are, but not limited to nausea, headache, dehydration and constipation.

The medications we prescribe are FDA-approved and have been used for clinically-assisted weight management in trials, resulting in years-worth of research data.

Most of the medications that our clinicians prescribe are appetite suppressants, which means that you may not feel the same level of cravings that you typically do. Remember, a balanced diet and regular exercise should be included as normal parts to any weight management program.

Please note that in order to prescribe medication, a prescribing provider has to be licensed in the state where the client is located. With that said, appointment availability varies on a state-by-state basis.
